Job Description

As the Officer in Charge of Engineering Watch (OICEW), you will oversee the engineering activities on our vessels, ensuring all systems are operational and maintained according to industry standards. Your role is crucial in safeguarding the safety and efficiency of our maritime operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engineering watchkeeping duties, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Oversee maintenance schedules and oversee repairs as necessary.
  • Implement effective training programs for junior engineers and crew.
  • Monitor engineering equipment performance and seek to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international maritime regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Marine Engineering or related field is preferred
Experience
  • At least 5 years of relevant marine engineering experience.
