Job Description

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team at Mechanical Solutions Pty Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. You will work collaboratively with engineers and project managers to ensure the successful completion of projects while adhering to timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical design projects from concept to completion.
• Analyze design requirements and develop specifications.
• Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements.
• Provide innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
• Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide training as needed.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in relevant field

Technical Skills

• Prototyping
• Robotics

Soft Skills

• Leadership
• Detail-oriented

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer status
• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles: Experience applying Lean Manufacturing concepts to improve processes.
• Experience in an R&D environment: Background in research and development projects.
