Job Description

As an Occupational Therapist with us, you'll be instrumental in helping clients achieve their rehabilitation goals. You'll engage with a diverse clientele, providing both assessment and therapeutic interventions. A positive attitude and a willingness to embrace challenges are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate patient needs and abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families about therapeutic activities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care.
  • Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate patient records.
  • Provide guidance on assistive devices and home modifications to enhance independence.
  • Support clients in participating in meaningful daily activities.
  • Advocate for community services and resources for clients.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Registered with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in occupational therapy preferred
