Stress Analyst

Job Description

As a Stress Analyst, you will conduct stress analysis and testing of mechanical components and structures to ensure their safety and reliability. We are looking for someone with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform stress and fatigue analysis on aerospace structures and components.
• Utilize finite element analysis (FEA) tools such as ANSYS or Abaqus.
• Create detailed reports on analysis findings and recommend solutions.
• Work with engineers to address mechanical design challenges.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Provide insights into material performance under different stress conditions.
• Facilitate interdepartmental communication to ensure project alignment.
• Mentor junior engineers for knowledge sharing and skill development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Master's degree in a related field is a plus

Experience

• Experience with stress analysis in the aerospace industry is advantageous
