Job Description

We are on the lookout for a meticulous Aviation Inspector responsible for ensuring that all aircraft meet stringent quality standards before they are cleared for operation. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Inspect aircraft structures and systems for adherence to quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to clarify quality requirements.
• Review production processes to assess compliance with established standards.
• Prepare thorough reports outlining inspection findings and recommendations.
• Engage in problem-solving discussions with teams to address quality issues.
• Perform final inspections before products are shipped or cleared.
• Evaluate testing methods to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of inspections.
• Audit supplier quality performance regularly.
• Participate in training programs to increase your knowledge of quality assurance.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or equivalent
• Advanced Diploma in Quality Assurance preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in quality assurance within the aerospace sector.

Technical Skills

• Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Root Cause Analysis
• Quality Assurance Software

Certifications

• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification
• Quality Management Systems Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with auditing processes: Proven experience in conducting supplier audits and compliance checks.
• Background in ISO 17025 accreditation: Knowledge of requirements for the accreditation of testing and calibration laboratories.
