Stationary Engineer and Boiler Operator

Job Description

The Steam Turbine Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining steam turbine systems to ensure safe and efficient operation. This role involves monitoring system performance, performing routine maintenance, and contributing to system upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Manage the operation of steam turbine systems under varying conditions.
• Advise on best practices for system efficiency and reliability.
• Implement maintenance schedules according to standard procedures.
• Engage in problem-solving during equipment malfunctions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to energy efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant Engineering Degree (preferred)

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a power station or heavy industry environment.

• Gas Turbine Operations
• Preventative Maintenance

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in a maintenance or engineering role: Past experience in roles focused on maintenance and system optimization.
• Certificate IV in Mechanical Engineering: Preferred qualification for candidates in this field.
