Space Systems Operations Superintendent

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a highly skilled Space Systems Operations Superintendent to manage and oversee operations of our satellite systems and ground teams. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient execution of satellite launches and ground operations.

Responsibilities

• Interface with stakeholders and partners to align operational goals with broader business objectives.
• Implement training programs for team members on operational protocols and safety standards.
• Review and refine operational workflows to eliminate redundancies and enhance efficiency.
• Manage operational budgets and resources effectively.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field
• PhD in Aerospace Engineering is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience in space systems operations management

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of satellite and ground station operations
• Experience with Earth observation and remote sensing technologies

Soft Skills

• Communication and Collaboration
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in satellite command and control systems: Knowledge of systems used for satellite operations and telemetry.
• Familiarity with spacecraft integration: Experience in the integration phases of spacecraft operations.
