We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Guillotine Trimmer to join our team in Melbourne. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining guillotine cutting machines to ensure that various materials are trimmed accurately and efficiently. Your attention to detail will play a crucial role in meeting production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess excellent mechanical aptitude and a strong understanding of workplace safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate machines based on specific job requirements.
• Ensure all cutting equipment is in compliance with safety regulations.
• Document production data and maintain accurate logs.
• Assist in inventory management of materials needed for trimming.
• Support other production team members as required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the workspace.
• Conduct quality checks on final products before packaging.
• Implement suggestions for improving workplace processes and efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in printing operations is preferred.

Experience

• Experience with different types of guillotine cutting machines is advantageous.
