Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Mental Health Counselor to provide essential support and guidance to individuals in our group home setting. The successful candidate will possess strong empathy and interpersonal skills, fostering a positive environment that encourages residents to thrive.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement workshops and activities that encourage personal development.
• Assist in recruiting and training new support staff as needed.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of treatment plans and adjust accordingly.
• Maintain consistent communication with external service providers.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote mental health awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field
• Master's degree in Mental Health or related field is preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of direct experience in mental health support or counselling
