Woodworking Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender

Job Description

As a Woodworking Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you'll be critical in operating machinery that crafts staves used in barrel manufacturing. You will ensure quality, efficiency, and safety throughout the production process.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate machinery for stave production.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products before shipment.
• Assist in training new operators on machinery and safety protocols.
• Follow all health and safety regulations with utmost diligence.
• Develop and implement improvements for production efficiency.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment needed for production.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational training in woodworking or machinery operation preferred

Experience

• Experience in cooperage or similar industry is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Mechanical Aptitude
• Safety Compliance

Advantageous

• Experience working in a cooperage: Valuable experience in a specialized field enhances skillset.
• Forklift license: A valid forklift license is an asset for mobility within the factory.
