Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Credit Authoriser, Checker, and Clerk to join our Credit Risk Management team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will conduct thorough credit analyses, assess risk, and help manage the creditworthiness of our clients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct credit checks on new and existing clients.
  • Assess creditworthiness and potential risks associated with customers.
  • Make recommendations regarding credit limits and terms.
  • Identify and report any potential credit fraud.
  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve credit issues.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date credit records.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Support team initiatives to optimize credit processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Relevant qualifications in Risk Management or Finance
Experience
  • Experience in the banking or financial services industry preferred
