Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Appraiser for auto damage assessments to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll assess and evaluate damage claims for vehicles, ensuring that clients receive fair compensation based on their policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance, excellent negotiation skills, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders, including engineers and contractors.

Responsibilities

  • Document damage assessments and communicate findings.
  • Evaluate repair/replacement costs for accurate settlements.
  • Liaise with engineers and contractors for assessments.
  • Implement company policies during the claims process.
  • Assist in mentoring junior staff on claims processes.
  • Attend workshops and training sessions to improve skills.
  • Provide feedback on claims management software usage.
  • Engage with clients to resolve issues and concerns.
  • Conduct regular reviews of policy compliance.
  • Ensure timely resolution of claims to enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Master's degree in Insurance or Business is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in claims handling
