Job Description

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Bet Taker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of bets and ensuring the highest level of customer service is provided at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Accept bets on various sporting events.
  • Provide betting advice to customers.
  • Calculate odds and payouts for various bets.
  • Process payments and issue receipts.
  • Resolve customer complaints and issues.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest betting trends and regulations.
  • Assist the Betting Manager with other tasks as needed.

Requirements

Education
  • Certificate III in Gambling Operations or equivalent
  • Current Responsible Service of Gambling (RSG) certification
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
Technical Skills
  • Betting Software Proficiency
  • CRM Software
Soft Skills
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Attention to Detail
Certifications
  • Current Police Check
Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Experience in a team leader or supervisory role: Proven experience in leading teams and managing betting operations.
  • Familiarity with multiple languages: Ability to communicate in more than one language is a plus.
