Job Description

The Government Property Inspector and Investigator will oversee the Section 8 housing assistance program, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. This role involves managing housing applications, liaising with landlords, and providing support to clients throughout the process.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with HUD regulations by conducting thorough reviews and inspections.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to enhance program effectiveness.
  • Monitor program performance and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and landlords.
  • Provide training and guidance to new staff members in program procedures.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, public administration, or a related field
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in housing assistance or a related field
