Job Description

We're on the lookout for an IT Support Specialist to join our Hobart team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing first-level support to our users, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT resources. A passion for technology and excellent customer service skills are a must.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service in IT support.
  • Perform system checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with third-party service providers when necessary.
  • Conduct regular software updates and security patches.
  • Provide remote support to users as needed.
  • Participate in IT-related training and team meetings.
  • Provide feedback to management on service improvement opportunities.
  • Assist in data entry and reporting of IT metrics.
  • Develop and maintain user manuals and documentation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are advantageous
Experience
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in IT support roles
