Speech-Language Pathology Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to provide support to our Speech Pathologists. You'll be integral in helping clients with communication disorders through individual and group therapy sessions.

Responsibilities

• Support the speech therapy team in conducting assessments and treatment sessions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for clients.
• Monitor client progress and adjust therapy techniques as needed.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Participate in relevant training and professional development activities.
• Contribute to the development of resources and materials for therapy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology or a related field
• Registration with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)

Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech Pathology Assistant.

Advantageous
