Job Description

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our team in Canberra. In this role, you will provide therapeutic services to clients dealing with mental health challenges. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and assess clients to determine their psychological needs.
  • Formulate treatment strategies based on best practices.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions for individuals and groups.
  • Participate in case conferences and multidisciplinary reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with ethical and professional standards.
  • Provide crisis intervention as necessary.
  • Engage in advocacy and community education regarding mental health.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (preferred)
  • Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
Experience
  • 5+ years of clinical experience
Technical Skills
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

Certifications
  • Registered Clinical Psychologist
