We are seeking a skilled Cardiopulmonary Technician to join our healthcare team. As a Cardiopulmonary Technician, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic tests and procedures related to the cardiovascular and respiratory systems. Your expertise will aid in both assessing and treating patients with various conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic tests accurately to support patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on procedures and care.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and infection control measures.
• Document test results and prepare reports for physicians.
• Assist in the training of new staff members in cardiopulmonary procedures.
• Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives.
• Work in tandem with other healthcare professionals for holistic patient management.
• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies in cardiopulmonary health.
• Provide exceptional patient-focused care throughout treatment.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and certification.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related health field

Experience

• Experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.

Technical Skills

• Echocardiography

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent
