Job Description

We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Art Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will implement creative arts therapy techniques to help clients explore and express their emotions, enhance their mental health, and develop coping strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate therapeutic sessions using a range of creative modalities to support healing.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create inclusive programs that engage all clients.
  • Monitor and evaluate client progress and adapt treatment programs as needed.
  • Create artistic activities that encourage self-expression for clients.
  • Engage in team discussions about client care and share effective strategies.
  • Maintain a well-organized set of records and documentation for all clients.
  • Provide supervision and mentorship to less experienced staff or interns.
  • Engage with the local community to promote awareness of art therapy benefits.
  • Participate in conferences or workshops that enhance professional skills.
  • Support organizational initiatives that focus on mental well-being.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in creative therapy settings
