Airplane Pilot Helper

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and diligent Airplane Pilot Helper to provide assistance and support to our pilots in the operation and maintenance of aircraft. This pivotal role demands strong communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a keen attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for pre-flight inspections, ensuring aircraft readiness, and assisting pilots with navigation and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough pre-flight checks alongside the pilot.
• Verify that maintenance logs are up-to-date and accessible.
• Monitor flight instruments during takeoff, landing, and in-flight procedures.
• Assist with passenger boarding, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain an organized environment within the cockpit and cabin.
• Collaborate with other crew members to deliver an excellent passenger experience.
• Report any maintenance issues or malfunctions to the Chief Pilot promptly.
• Stay informed of changes in weather or flight paths and communicate accordingly.
• Participate in safety drills and training sessions regularly.
• Document flight operations and assist with post-flight reporting.

Requirements

Education

• Valid Airplane Pilot Helper certification or equivalent license

Experience

• Experience as a flight attendant or in a similar role is advantageous.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
