Job Description

The Industrial Engineering Technologist will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing machinery in our manufacturing facilities. You will diagnose and address issues with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to ensure uninterrupted production.

Responsibilities

  • Execute planned maintenance schedules effectively and efficiently.
  • Report on equipment performance and suggest improvements.
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts when production issues arise.
  • Document all repairs and maintenance activities in compliance with company standards.
  • Coordinate with external vendors for specialist repairs and parts sourcing.
  • Assist with the development of training materials for staff.
  • Support risk assessments and safety audits.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss equipment-related topics.
  • Implement changes as required to improve machinery reliability.
  • Enhance technical documentation as needed.
