Job Description

Join our team as a Paperhanger! This position requires an individual experienced in the installation of wall coverings, from traditional wallpaper to modern fabric materials. You’ll be responsible for ensuring precision and quality in every project, working both independently and collaboratively with our skilled team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare walls by removing old coverings, filling holes, and sanding surfaces.
• Install wall coverings accurately to align with patterns and textures.
• Take precise measurements and assist with material ordering.
• Engage in client discussions to understand their needs and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment during installations.
• Report job progress to the Project Manager regularly.
• Assist in training junior team members in installation techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Wall and Ceiling Lining
• Valid White Card (Construction Induction Card)

Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Wallcovering Installer.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with specialty wall coverings: Knowledge and skills in handling fabrics, vinyls, and grasscloth.
