Job Description

We seek a dedicated Stull Hewer to assist in the safe removal of stulls in our underground mining operations. This role is vital in maintaining smooth operations and ensuring the safety of all personnel.

Responsibilities

• Effectively remove stulls from operational areas using safety gear.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Work alongside the team to strategize removal plans and workflows.
• Perform maintenance checks on stull removal equipment.
• Document stull removal activities and report progress to supervisors.
• Mentor new employees on safety practices and equipment handling.
• Engage in regular safety drills and team briefings.
• Assist with general mining duties as directed by site supervisors.
• Promote a culture of safety and teamwork within the mining crew.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in mining operations or similar roles is highly desirable.
