Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer based in Geelong to join our innovative team. This role involves designing and developing mechanical systems, applying engineering principles, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet project requirements. The successful candidate will have experience in the automotive or manufacturing sectors, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Create and implement mechanical design solutions for new and existing products.
• Collaborate with engineers and designers to refine engineering processes.
• Perform feasibility studies and cost analyses for proposed designs.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for procurement of materials.
• Assist in the training and mentoring of junior engineers.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of engineering experience in a relevant industry

Technical Skills

• AutoCAD
• Finite Element Analysis (FEA)

Certifications

• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
