Job Description

Join our esteemed institution as a College Chaplain, where your role will be to provide emotional and spiritual support to our college community. Your responsibilities will include leading worship services, offering counseling, and collaborating with other staff on initiatives that enhance student well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Offer spiritual guidance and counseling to students and staff.
  • Lead and organize religious services, including prayer and worship.
  • Provide pastoral care in times of crisis and emotional distress.
  • Collaborate with college teams to foster a supportive campus environment.
  • Develop and deliver educational programs on ethics and values.
  • Organize religious retreats and community service activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with professionalism.
  • Support individuals during bereavement, illness, and personal challenges.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating religious events and ceremonies.

Requirements

Education
  • Ordination or certification as a clergy member
  • Degree in Divinity, Theology, or a relevant field
Experience
  • Prior experience as a chaplain or in pastoral care is highly desirable.
