Job Description

As an Industrial Welder, you will perform various welding tasks while adhering to safety standards in an industrial environment. Your expertise in MIG, TIG, and arc welding will ensure high-quality results in metal fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Perform welding operations to fabricate and repair components.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
• Conduct quality checks of welds and other operations.
• Assist in training new welders and apprentices.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Document all welding processes and maintain equipment logs.
• Work collaboratively with other team members and departments.
• Utilize welding software for design and measurement.
• Stay updated on industry standards and new technologies.

Requirements

Education

• Certification or trade qualification in welding (e.g., Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade)
• Valid welding tickets (e.g., AS 1796 certification)

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant industrial welding experience.
