As a Correctional Officer, you will be instrumental in maintaining security and order within a correctional facility. You will supervise inmates, enforce rules, and ensure safety for both inmates and staff.
Responsibilities
Ensure the safety and security of inmates and staff at all times.
Assist in rehabilitation efforts by providing support and guidance to inmates.
Work collaboratively with fellow officers to enforce regulations.
Conduct regular inspections of inmates and facility premises.
Respond to emergencies and provide incident reports accordingly.
Maintain effective communication with management and team members.
Participate in community outreach programs as needed.
Engage in conflict resolution to manage situations effectively.
Document all incidents following established protocols.
Uphold the principles of integrity and professionalism in all duties.
Requirements
Education
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a relevant certificate in corrections, law enforcement is preferred
