Job Description

As a Cylinder Inspector, you will play a vital role in the safe handling and inspection of gas cylinders. Your expertise will ensure compliance with safety standards, contributing to a culture of safety and efficiency in our organisation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections and non-destructive testing on cylinders.
• Record action items and inspection results in the company database.
• Identify non-compliance and recommend necessary corrective actions.
• Ensure effective calibration of inspection equipment.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with the Health and Safety Officer for chemical safety assessments.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in non-destructive testing preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years in cylinder testing or related field

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of safety regulations
• Inspection techniques

Certifications

• Non-destructive testing certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
