We are currently on the lookout for a skilled Sheet Metal Mechanic to join our industrious team at Manufacturing Solutions Pty Ltd. The successful candidate will be instrumental in performing various sheet metal fabrication tasks, from cutting and bending to welding and assembling components. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring our production processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Execute sheet metal fabrication tasks such as cutting, bending, shaping, and welding.
• Read and understand technical drawings and blueprints for accurate execution.
• Operate and maintain various tools and machinery.
• Maintain adherence to safety standards and protocols.
• Assemble metal components following detailed specifications.
• Conduct quality control checks on products.
• Collaborate effectively within the team to meet deadlines.
• Address and resolve equipment issues quickly.
• Participate in ongoing improvement efforts to refine processes.

Requirements

Education

• Trade certificate in sheet metal fabrication or relevant field

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Metal Properties Knowledge
• Hand and Power Tools Proficiency

• Time Management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Stainless Steel: Familiarity with working on stainless steel and other specialty metals.
• Forklift License: Valid forklift license for operating warehouse machinery.
