Job Description

As a Woodworking Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you'll be responsible for the efficient operation of woodworking machines and planning tools. Your primary task will be to create and manage production schedules, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operation of woodworking machinery to ensure efficiency.
  • Update production schedules based on changes in customer demand.
  • Utilise advanced planning tools to optimize production workflows.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks.
  • Prepare reports on production metrics and progress.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Participate in troubleshooting equipment issues as they arise.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Diploma in Manufacturing or Engineering is preferred
Experience
  • 2-4 years in a similar role with a strong background in woodworking or manufacturing.
