Model Maker

Job Description

The Model Maker will play a crucial role in our Design and Prototyping team, responsible for creating detailed physical models from specifications and drawings. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with designers and engineers to produce accurate prototypes used for testing and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Use CAD software to create and modify 3D digital models.
• Prepare materials and tools required for model production.
• Ensure models are crafted to precise measurements and tolerances.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create prototypes for presentations.
• Facilitate workshops and training for team members on new model making technologies.
• Collect and analyze feedback from testing phases to implement improvements.
• Document and archive model specifications and development processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or related field

Experience

• Experience with high-end materials such as carbon fiber or titanium is a plus.
