Job Description

As an Elevator Installation and Repair Maintenance Worker, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various types of elevators in both residential and commercial settings. Your expertise will ensure that all installations meet safety standards and function effectively.

Responsibilities

• Install various types of elevators, ensuring adherence to manufacturer’s specifications.
• Carry out preventative maintenance routines on escalators.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical failures in systems.
• Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through strong interpersonal skills.
• Assist with training apprentices and new technicians.
• Stay up to date with the latest technologies and elevator codes.
• Participate in health and safety audits and implement improvements as needed.
• Utilise tools and equipment while following proper safety procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on system upgrades and replacements.

Requirements

Education

• Technical Certificate in Elevator Maintenance

Experience

• Proven experience in hydraulic and traction elevator systems.

Technical Skills

• Troubleshooting
• Installation techniques
• Regulatory knowledge

Soft Skills

• Customer service orientation

Certifications

• Elevator Mechanics License

Languages

• English: Fluent
