Job Description

We're on the lookout for a Roofer Assistant to join our skilled team. You will play a vital role in supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of roofing systems. This position is ideal for individuals who are physically fit and eager to learn the ropes of the roofing industry.

Responsibilities

• Support the installation of various roofing systems under the guidance of senior staff.
• Help maintain job site cleanliness and organization.
• Transport materials and tools to and from the work area as needed.
• Engage in continuous learning opportunities to improve roofing skills.
• Assist with inspections of roofs to identify maintenance needs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure safety and performance.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience

• Any previous experience in roofing or construction is a plus

Technical Skills

• Hand and power tools
• Blueprint reading

• Problem-solving

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings: Skills in understanding construction plans are considered beneficial.
