Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Printer Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various types of printers. This role requires strong technical knowledge and the ability to work independently. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our printing equipment operates efficiently and meets client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct installations and configure various types of printers.
• Execute preventive maintenance and repairs on printers to enhance longevity.
• Diagnose printer-related issues and provide timely solutions.
• Manage replacement of parts as needed to minimize downtime.
• Address customer service inquiries regarding printer functionality.
• Maintain detailed logs of repairs and service history.
• Assist users with technical support and printer-related queries.
• Keep abreast with new developments in printing technology.
• Ensure optimal operation of printing devices to meet service level agreements.
• Work closely with colleagues to optimize the printing process.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant certification or diploma in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Printer Technician or similar role
