Job Description

As a Woodworking Machine Setter, Operator, and Tender, you'll play a crucial role in our manufacturing process. Your primary responsibilities include operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting woodworking machinery to produce precise wood components. Ideal candidates will have a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of woodworking techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, adjust, and operate woodworking machinery to ensure high-quality output.
  • Perform quality control checks on completed wood components.
  • Maintain records of machinery operation and maintenance.
  • Assist with inventory management of materials.
  • Implement standardized operating procedures for effective workflow.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss productivity and quality issues.
  • Support the creation of custom wood products based on client specifications.
  • Keep abreast of new woodworking techniques and advancements in machinery.
  • Report safety hazards and incidents as per company protocol.

Requirements

Education
  • Trade Qualification in Carpentry or Joinery
  • Advanced Diploma in Manufacturing is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in woodworking or manufacturing
