Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Craft Artist to join our team as a Hand Potter. You will be responsible for creating unique pottery pieces using hand molding techniques and tools, collaborating with fellow artisans to bring creative ideas to life.

Responsibilities

• Utilize hand molding techniques to create unique pottery pieces.
• Work closely with team members to bring innovative pottery designs to life.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards in the studio environment.
• Assist with day-to-day operations of the studio.
• Participate in local art fairs and exhibitions to promote pottery.
• Provide mentorship for interns and new team members.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition.
• Conduct research on new pottery trends and techniques.
• Collaborate on marketing strategies for pottery products.
• Engage with customers during pottery sales and events.

Requirements

Education

• Formal training in fine arts or related fields
• Certificate in ceramics or pottery preferred

Experience

• Experience managing a pottery studio or workshop is a plus.

Languages

• English: Fluent
