Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Mental Health Nurse to provide high-quality care to individuals experiencing mental health issues. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to assess patient needs, develop care plans, and deliver therapeutic interventions. Your compassionate approach will play a vital role in improving the lives of our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the mental and physical health of clients during intake processes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment goals.
  • Deliver patient education on mental health wellness and self-management strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions and treatment plans.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices.
  • Facilitate support groups and workshops for clients and families.
  • Implement evidence-based practices in clinical settings.
  • Manage medication administration and monitor side effects.
  • Provide crisis support and intervention for at-risk clients.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Master’s degree or specialization in Mental Health Nursing preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a mental health setting
