Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Medical and Clinical Laboratory Technician to join our team. You will play a vital role in preparing and processing tissue samples, conducting various laboratory procedures, and ensuring the highest quality standards in diagnostic services.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process specimens for histological examination.
• Prepare and stain tissue samples for analysis.
• Perform routine maintenance on laboratory equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and guidelines.
• Contribute to laboratory quality control activities.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff on research projects.
• Assist with ongoing training programs for staff members.
• Compile and maintain accurate records of specimen processing.
• Participate in continuing education and training.
• Support pathologists with technical expertise.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in Histology or related field
• Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science is preferred

Experience

• Experience with routine and special staining procedures

Technical Skills

• Microtome Operation
• Staining Techniques

Certifications

• Histotechnician certification from a recognized authority

Languages

• English: Fluent
