Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Technician to join our vibrant team in Hobart. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in troubleshooting, supporting, and maintaining IT systems and networks. You'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our systems run smoothly and efficiently, providing technical support to our employees, and assisting with a range of IT-related tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex IT issues related to software and hardware.
  • Ensure optimal performance and accessibility of IT systems.
  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of servers and networks.
  • Guide users on how to effectively use IT resources.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with technology trends.
  • Provide feedback to improve IT processes and systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors for repair and maintenance services.
  • Compile and present reports on IT performance metrics.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
  • Relevant certifications preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in technical support roles
