Job Description

Join our procurement team as a Buying Agent. You'll be at the forefront of sourcing and purchasing farm products, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that we consistently meet our quality and delivery commitments.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor market trends to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Ensure quality assurance by overseeing supplier audits.
  • Implement procurement strategies to optimise costs.
  • Liaise with logistics to ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders on purchasing matters.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchasing activities and documentation.
  • Develop and maintain strong supplier partnerships.
  • Support the development of procurement policies and procedures.
  • Assist in training junior procurement staff.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams for new product development.

Advantageous

  • Experience in the retail or wholesale industry: Background in retail purchasing will be beneficial.
