Topographer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Topographer to join our dynamic team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting land surveys, collecting and analysing data, and creating accurate maps and plans. If you have a strong background in surveying principles and practices, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Perform aerial surveys and photogrammetric mapping when required.
• Analyse and interpret survey data using Geographic Information Systems (GIS).
• Provide expert advice on land surveying and mapping to clients.
• Oversee various surveying projects from inception to completion.
• Edit and present survey data in a clear and concise manner for reporting purposes.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Surveying or related field is preferred.

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in land surveying, especially in construction and infrastructure projects.

• Time Management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with 3D scanning and modelling: Hands-on experience in using modern scanning technologies for surveying.
• Certifications in surveying software: Professional certifications in software platforms related to land surveying.
