Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Architecture Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. You will be responsible for teaching architecture courses in our postsecondary programs, engaging students and fostering a rich learning environment through your expertise.

Responsibilities

• Plan and teach various architecture courses, from historical analysis to modern design.
• Implement innovative teaching methods to engage students and facilitate learning.
• Contribute to research and community outreach initiatives related to architecture.
• Provide guidance for student-led projects and presentations, offering professional insights.
• Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving through case studies and real-world applications.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Architecture or a closely related field
• Bachelor's degree is required

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in academia or relevant industry experience

Technical Skills

• SketchUp
• Adobe Creative Suite

Soft Skills

• Adaptability
• Leadership

Certifications

• Advanced Diploma of Building Design
• Teaching Qualification (if applicable)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with design software: Experience with various architectural design software.
• Published author or researcher in architecture: Active contributions to architectural publications or studies.
