Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Special Education Teacher to work with preschool-age students with disabilities. The role involves developing and implementing tailored education plans, fostering a nurturing learning environment, and collaborating with families and other professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement IEPs that cater to the individual needs of preschool students with disabilities.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach to education.
  • Evaluate and adapt teaching methods to suit the diverse learning styles of students.
  • Lead classroom activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Engage actively with parents, providing guidance and support to enhance their child's learning.
  • Stay current with educational trends and participate in workshops or training sessions.
  • Establish a positive classroom culture that supports the emotional and academic growth of students.
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records to inform future planning.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, preferably with a Special Education focus
  • Master's degree in Special Education is an advantage
Experience
  • At least 2 years of experience working with preschool children with special needs.
