Public Key Infrastructure Analyst (PKI Analyst)

Job Description

The PKI Analyst is critical in ensuring the security and integrity of our organization's digital certificates and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) systems. This role demands a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a thorough understanding of cryptography and encryption.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operation of the organization’s PKI services to maintain the integrity and security of digital certificates.
• Assist in the design and rollout of innovative PKI solutions.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to ensure effective PKI integration.
• Respond to security incidents related to PKI and contribute to incident resolution.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation on PKI policies and solutions.
• Perform training sessions on PKI systems for both technical and non-technical staff.
• Research emerging PKI technologies and recommend necessary upgrades.
• Ensure all PKI activities comply with legal and regulatory standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology
• Master’s degree in a related field is highly regarded

Experience

• 3+ years in a PKI role with demonstrated expertise

• OpenSSL
• Java & Python Scripting

Certifications

• CISSP
• CISA

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with DevOps methodologies: Knowledge and application of DevOps principles in PKI implementations.
• Scripting and automation tools experience: Experience with Python and Shell scripting for automation tasks.
