• Draft and submit accurate estimates aligned with project specifications.
• Engage in stakeholder meetings to discuss project updates and changes.
• Monitor expenses and conduct cost tracking throughout project phases.
• Identify and recommend areas for improvement in estimating processes.
• Assist in the development of project proposals and bids.
• Review and interpret design documents and specifications.
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and feasibility.
• Train and mentor junior estimators in effective estimating practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related field
• Proficiency in cost estimating software (e.g. CostX, PlanSwift) Expertise in industry-related software for cost estimation.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Expert-level knowledge of Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• AutoCAD proficiency Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Excellent communication skills Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Analytical thinking Ability to analyze data effectively and make informed decisions.
• Attention to detail Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy in estimates.
• Certified Cost Professional (CCP)
• English (Fluent)

• Experience with Building Information Modelling (BIM) software: Familiarity with BIM tools to enhance estimating accuracy.
• Previous experience in large-scale commercial projects: Experience managing budgets for significant construction undertakings.
