Chemical Equipment Operator

Job Description

The Outside Operator is responsible for maintaining the operation of plant equipment and systems. This includes monitoring, troubleshooting, and reporting any issues that arise, ensuring high safety standards and compliance with operational protocols.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all equipment.
• Protect the environment by ensuring all operations comply with standards.
• Monitor supply levels and request materials as needed.
• Engage in training sessions to enhance your technical skills.

Requirements

Education

• Technical certification or associate's degree in engineering or related field preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in maintaining chemical processing equipment

Technical Skills

• Excellent knowledge of safety protocols
• Experience with hand and power tools

Soft Skills

• Organizational skills
• Team player

Certifications

• Forklift license
• Working at Heights Certificate

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Working at Heights Certificate: Certification allowing work at elevated heights safely.
• Experience with hazardous materials handling: Experience in working with and managing hazardous substances safely.
