Job Description

As a Lump Inspector, you will be responsible for assessing and examining lumps of various materials to determine their quality and suitability for use. Your attention to detail and analytical skills will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze lumps of minerals for quality and compliance.
• Utilize testing equipment to check material specifications.
• Document inspection findings and outcomes.
• Communicate with team members to ensure standards are met.
• Participate in safety audits and compliance checks.
• Assist in developing quality assurance protocols.
• Provide training to new staff on inspection processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in quality control.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant degree in mining, geology, or a related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in mineral inspection and analysis

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Statistical Process Control: Experience in applying SPC to maintain quality standards.
