Job Description

The role of a Lockman involves designing, installing, and maintaining various locking systems to ensure the security of buildings, properties, and people. You will collaborate closely with clients and provide expert security advice.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain a range of locks and security systems.
• Respond efficiently to customer inquiries and service requests.
• Conduct safety audits of locking systems in client properties.
• Evaluate client security needs and provide tailored recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist with the development of marketing materials for locksmith services.
• Manage service appointments and ensure timely responses.
• Document all work in compliance with company policy for quality control.
• Foster positive relationships with clients to enhance service experience.
• Provide training and mentorship for less experienced team members.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Locksmithing or equivalent
• Additional training in high-security systems is a plus

Experience

• Preferred 3-5 years of experience in locksmithing

Technical Skills

• Expertise in electronic locking systems
• Automotive locking systems

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Time Management

Certifications

• Security Industry License

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with automotive locking systems: Knowledge in dealing with vehicle locks and ignition systems.
• Safe cracking and repair experience: Ability to handle and repair different types of safes securely.
