Job Description

We are seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our dynamic team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualisation techniques. You will be responsible for deriving insights from large datasets and delivering actionable recommendations that drive business success.

Responsibilities

• Lead data analysis projects from conception through implementation.
• Apply machine learning techniques to create data-driven insights.
• Work alongside data engineers to ensure systems' efficiency.
• Build and maintain reporting tools that provide stakeholders with key performance metrics.
• Conduct A/B testing and other validation methods to ensure model performance.
• Mentor junior data analysts and foster their professional development.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
• Master's degree in Data Analytics or similar is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in analytics or data science roles

Technical Skills

• Python

Certifications

• Certified Analytics Professional (CAP)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
