Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced and qualified Vehicle Mechanic to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will take charge of servicing and repairing an extensive range of vehicles, diagnosing faults, and ensuring that all work is executed to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Undertake maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.
• Utilise diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Perform safety inspections and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Interact with customers to explain repairs and provide quotes.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the workshop area.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow.
• Participate in ongoing training to stay current with automotive technology.
• Document all maintenance and repair work carried out.
• Manage inventory and order replacement parts when necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent
• Diploma in Automotive Technology is advantageous

Experience

• 5 years of experience in automotive repair and maintenance

Technical Skills

• Electrical systems troubleshooting
• Hydraulic systems

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Automotive Technician

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with automotive software tools: Familiarity with tools like Bosch KTS for diagnostics.
• Experience with electrical systems and wiring: Knowledge and expertise in automotive electronics and wiring.
